Old Shot, But Still a Favorite

I captured this shot the first weekend after getting my new (at the time) Nikon 85mm f/1.4G when I went to Los Angeles to see my girlfriend for a weekend. I absolutely love this lens.

I’ve been wanting to do a shot like this for quite a while, but it wasn’t until last week that I finally took the time to actually do it. I’m pretty happy with the way it came out, so I figured I’d share it with the rest of you!

BMW M3′s at Lincoln Haymarket

I had been meaning to get a few more rig shots done of my car, so I finally found time this weekend to get that done. I asked my friend Bugra to tag along to help me out and told him I’d do one for his car too. We had fun shooting these, and I need all the practice I can get! The weather is also starting to shift towards winter, so I was happy to be able to get out and get some shots done before the snow comes in.

Pioneers Park | September 11, 2010

Yesterday, it was a beautiful day outside over here in Lincoln, Nebraska.
I called my dad and asked him if he’d like me to snap some pictures of his new toy, since he had asked me to before.
Well he said yes so we headed over to Pioneers Park and I got to work.

After he left, my friends and I stuck around in the park and I had one of them help me snap a few shots of myself that I wanted.

It’s been a while…

This is sad, but today was the first day I really did any serious photo work all summer. I was tired of such a long idle period, so I got together with two of my friends, Aaron and Henry, and decided to get some more rig shot practice in. A few hours of shooting and quite a few more hours processing left me with these final shots!

My First Rig Shot Attempts Ever

Well, after having my rig sitting in my room for the last several months, the weather is finally nice and warm enough to bring it out and attempt some rig shots!

Today, I met up with a few friends at Pioneers Park here in Lincoln and completed my first rig shot attempt.
